Description: During a drought, Sheriff York was trying to maintain order at a local cold spring while allocating water. A local man became unruly and Sheriff York was forced to remove him from the line. In an act of revenge, the man later ambushed the sheriff, stabbing him repeatedly. Sheriff York was able to shoot and kill the man before he died.
