Description: Deputy Yount had a heart attack after he and another officer attempted to serve a warrant. Deputy Yount and his partner had to fight with the suspect and were both assaulted before handcuffing the suspect and placing him the back of the patrol car. Deputy Yount was seated in the back of the patrol car with the suspect when he had a heart seizure and lost consciousness. Deputy Yount was transported to a local hospital where he died in the emergency room.
