Description: Sergeant Young and Officer Holland were on patrol when their patrol car was struck by a 15-year-old juvenile who had failed to stop at the intersection. The juvenile, who later claimed that the brakes had failed, fled the scene. Sergeant Young succumbed to his injuries and died later that day, Officer Holland was treated and released.
