Description: Officer Youngstrom died as a result of a gunshot wound sustained the previous day while conducting a traffic stop. As Officer Youngstrom approached the vehicle, the driver opened fire, wounding Officer Youngstrom. Officer Youngstrom was transported to a nearby hospital where he died the next day. The suspect was shot and killed by a responding officer.
