Description: Corporal Young succumbed to injuries he sustained in an automobile accident while responding to assist another trooper involved in a vehicle pursuit. While responding, Corporal Young lost control of his cruiser and struck the median strip. His patrol vehicle was then struck twice by oncoming traffic. Corporal Young received severe head injuries and was transported to the hospital where he lapsed into a coma and died 10 days later.
