Description: Police Officer Yazzie was fatally shot while attempting to arrest a suspect. Officer Yazzie was one of 30 officers involved in a manhunt for a suspect who shot at police who responded to a domestic disturbance call. The suspect led officers into Arizona where he crashed his vehicle and began shooting at officers with an AR-15 assault rifle. Officer Yazzie died at the scene. Two other officers recovered from non-life threatening wounds.
