Description: On June 24, 1905, Patrolman Yeager fell through a glass skylight to the pavement as he and a security guard investigated a fire in a building. The men had climbed out onto the awning to escape the billowing smoke when the incident occurred. Patrolman Yeager died of a fractured skull a week later on July 3rd.
