Description: Deputy Jailer Young and Deputy Sheriff George Holloway were shot when they went to a residence to take a suspect to court for a mental health hearing. The suspect was the nephew of Deputy Young. Deputy Young was transported to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the head and died the next day. Deputy Holloway survived his injuries. The suspect was convicted of murder and committed to the insane asylum.
