Description: Inspector Young was injured in an automobile crash when the vehicle skidded on a wet road and struck a fence. Inspector Young was a passenger in the vehicle along with two state troopers and a borough president. Inspector Young was returning from Plainfield, Connecticut where he had completed an investigation. The rail from the fence went through the windshield, into his chest and punctured his lung. Inspector Young was transported to the hospital where he died several hours later.
