Description: Trooper Zachary was struck and killed by a pick-up truck while conducting a traffic stop on Interstate 20. Trooper Zachary had stopped two vehicles for traffic violations and had issued traffic citations when the accident occurred. While returning to his patrol unit, Trooper Zachary was fatally struck by the pick-up truck and thrown into a ditch.
