Description: Deputy Sheriff Zettergren was fatally shot with his own gun while seated in his patrol car. Deputy Zettergren came upon a burglary in progress at a tavern and was attacked by the suspect before he could investigate the broken tavern window. The suspect pled guilty to murder and was sentenced to life in prison but committed suicide a month later.
