Description: Special Agent Zearfoss and Officer Earl Wilbanks stopped and searched three hobos in the train yard. One of the men pulled a gun and shot both officers. Agent Zearfoss was shot in the abdomen and died at the hospital. Officer Wilbanks was also shot but survived. The suspect was killed by police in a shoot-out.
