Description: Deputy Zak was working extra security for a nightclub (off duty security job was authorized by department). He was informed of a fight in progress in the parking lot of the facility. He responded with another deputy and broke up the fight. Suspect was charged with public intoxication and disorderly conduct. Immediately following the arrest, Deputy Zak suffered a massive heart attack and died at the scene.
