Description: Motorcycle Officer Zarate was killed in a single motorcycle crash while in pursuit of shoplifting suspects. Officer Zarate responded to a shoplifting call and conducted a traffic stop on the suspects. The suspects fled and Officer Zarate gave chase. While pursuing the suspects, Officer Zarate lost control of his motorcycle and struck a landscaping trailer. The suspects turned themselves into authorities.
